Street Superintendent Rick Reitz presented a $5,800 quote to clean the parking lot and basketball court, apply hot rubberized crack sealant on major cracks, and restripe the surfaces. Mike Botelho moved to approve the $5,800 expenditure; Tim McCarthy seconded the motion and the council approved it unanimously.
Reitz also reported seasonal operations: staff is cleaning the park, installing signs, and will start locking and unlocking the pickleball/tennis court gates beginning May 1. He noted removal of the net cranks because they frequently go missing or are damaged; the council reiterated that no personal property should be left on the courts and that unclaimed items will be discarded after 30 days.
