The presentation noted cramped office space, a lack of a secure evidence room and inadequate confidential interview space; the committee recommended a welcoming, modern facility that meets law‑enforcement safety standards and is financially responsible.
Council turned the concept over to the Planning Commission for incorporation into the Master Plan update. Julie Bonello said she will include questions about station modernization in the January resident survey so community priorities can be measured before any formal project decision.
