County seeks partners for animal shelter operations; facility insulation and lights work underway

Separately, staff updated the board on facility work: ceilings and insulation have been installed, interior temperatures have improved and staff expect lights to be installed this week. Volunteers continue to support daily care and one long-term dog was recently adopted out of state. The board asked staff to continue outreach to potential partners and to report back as bids or expressions of interest arrive.
