IPP accepted $90,000 PCCD grant; program reports referrals, completions and community-service savings

IPP Director Tyler Shoaf briefed the Prison Board that "IPP was accepted and given the PCCD grant for $90,000," saying the money will offset the Specialty Court Coordinator's salary and participant costs. Shoaf reported 66 referrals and 51 successful completions for December and that the program has served 573 participants in total.
Shoaf also provided program metrics: 409 community service hours completed in December, described as creating $2,962 in savings to worksites, and $430 collected in domestic violence fees for the month. The board approved the IPP report by unanimous voice vote after a motion and second.
