Neshannock Creek Watershed Authority reappoints officers, engineering and legal teams for 2026

The Neshannock Creek Watershed Joint Municipal Authority convened Jan. 13, 2026, and re-established its 2026 leadership and vendor relationships. Motions to accept Springfield Township’s appointment of Dave Swartz to the authority and to reappoint Patrick J. Suhrie as chairman, Dave Swartz as vice chairman, Robert Gregory as secretary and William Finley Jr. as treasurer carried unanimously.
The board also reappointed Karen Shipton as administrator for 2026, reappointed First National Bank as the authority’s depository, confirmed Gannett Fleming, Inc. as the consulting engineering firm and reappointed Roger Shaffer of Barr and Shaffer as solicitor. The Record Argus was designated as the newspaper of record for advertising. The board set its 2026 meeting schedule for the second Tuesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. at the Findley Township Municipal Building in Mercer.
These organizational motions were moved and seconded from the board’s membership and recorded as “motion carried unanimously.” The reorganization was completed during the meeting’s opening segment and no dissent or abstentions were recorded.
