The board discussed short‑term rental (STR) administration and heard that the Deckard contract was signed on Friday and should be operational in "the next 11-12 weeks." The board was told there are "96 finalized permits, and about 30 still in‑process," and that short stays of 14 days or less annually are not required to register.
Christie Boswell, who the minutes identify as the STR coordinator, said she will track the $5 Transfer Station fees generated from STRs and that Good Neighbor Guidelines have been provided to the board and are ready for implementation. Beth Grant asked for a copy of the Deckard contract to be sent to the board for review.
