The Montmorency County Board approved two operational items during the Controller’s report on May 28. Commissioners approved the purchase of two unbudgeted cameras for county lease cars for $6,965.54, with funds moved from the Emergency Service Fund. The motion was made by Commissioner James Madison and seconded by Lloyd Peltier and passed on a 5–0 roll call.
Separately, the board approved the county’s annual elevator inspection and payment of $3,000. That motion (moved by Michelle Hamlin and seconded by Lloyd Peltier) also passed 5–0. Both actions were recorded during the Controller’s report on routine operations and maintenance.
