Christie Boswell told the Selectboard on Jan. 7 that the town has collected approximately $189,000 in short‑term rental (STR) fees through Dec. 31 — including about $10,000 in fines — and that 100 licenses have been issued. "They are now committed to Deckard; she needs to gather more information for a transition around February," the minutes state. Boswell said she will keep GovOS active during the move to ensure data integrity and recommended adding STR information and contact numbers to the Town Welcome letter.
Boswell said she will continue drafting potential ordinance changes but will wait until the Deckard transition is complete; she described renewal timing as staggered depending on homeowner status and suggested setting stop dates for remaining registrations. The Selectboard did not take a formal vote on ordinance changes at the meeting.
