Town manager: new truck paid; remaining funds invested, floats inspection planned

Town Manager Sara J. Liscomb told the Selectmen on Sept. 22 that the town’s new truck has been paid for and that remaining funds previously held pending the purchase have now been invested.
Liscomb said the truck is currently in Massachusetts for a final inspection and the town expects to complete that inspection and take delivery next week. She also reported that Custom Float Services visited at no charge to assess the town’s floats; the contractor will supply a price list of needed repairs and materials.
Liscomb and staff noted that she and Misti will attend the annual MMA Convention on Oct. 8, 2025. Selectmen did not record additional follow-up dates for the float repairs or for the truck beyond the expected delivery timeline.
