On March 9 the Rogers County Board approved a rezoning request from Barry and Tiffany Schockemoehl to change the zoning of land on the west side of S. 4094 Rd. north of E. 480 Rd., Claremore, from AG (Agriculture) to RS-40 (Residential Single-Family Low Medium Density District) to permit a residential lot split. Planning Commission Deputy Director Brittany Senters presented the case; the Planning Commission recommended approval 4-0 and no members of the public spoke during the hearing. The board voted 3-0 to adopt the change.
The legal description included a parcel described as the SE/4 of the NE/4 of the NE/4 of the SW/4 of Section 4, Township 21 North, Range 15 East of the I.B.&M. The rezoning was approved contingent on the county's lot-splitting and platting requirements.
