County staff recommend 50 kW backup generator; Elkton Ambulance seeks radios and training

Commission Department Director Stacy Steffensen reported that Elkton Ambulance sent quotes for three radios totaling just over $16,000 and training costing about $6,500. Commissioner Doug Post requested a formal, updated funding request from the Elkton Ambulance because the service may have received funding from other entities. The commission did not approve a generator purchase at the March 3 meeting but indicated the item could return for action pending a formal request and review of project funding.
