Planning Board rules Chester Railway Glamping permit does not require two-year renewal

Chair Liz Massa moved that the special permit for glamping at 10 Prospect Street does not require the two-year automatic lapse; Richard Holzman seconded and the motion passed with all members voting aye. The board recorded this determination under the working Special Permit bylaw language (6.5.4) discussed the same night.
The decision means the Chester Foundation's glamping operation will remain permitted without filing a renewal at the two-year mark so long as the site continues regular substantial use or construction as defined by the bylaw language under consideration.
