DOT reports modest net CCO change in May, details several project adjustments

Smith summarized region-specific projects with notable changes, including a $153,269.77 increase on NH 0013(171) near Huron for PCC pavement grinding (Emery Sapp & Sons) and a $409,418.20 increase for work at the I‑29 85th Street interchange in Lincoln County (T&R Contracting, Inc.).
Staff also reported both increases and decreases elsewhere: a $381,856.86 decrease on IM‑EM 0908(97)362 (I‑90 eastbound lanes) and smaller adjustments on Rapid City and Pierre region projects. Smith said many changes reflect adjustments to match as‑built quantities, additional excavation, aggregate column installations, and incentive/disincentive payments within contracts.
