District outlines summer learning, family outreach progress and Broncho Virtual growth

Executive Director Szczechowicz told the board that summer learning programs are underway, including Camp Innovation (STEM programming for Young 5s through 7th grade) at Patterson Elementary and a high-school credit recovery program combining online coursework with in-person learning labs. She also described summer learning packets for Young 5s through fourth graders and partnership resources with Holly Parks to sustain learning.
Ms. Sinclair and Mrs. Price presented the Parent Outreach Team's 2025—26 Annual Report, describing workshops, resource fairs, FAFSA assistance, McKinney-Vento services, HOPE Squad and Care Solace referrals and plans to increase family engagement for 2026—27. Superintendent Roper additionally highlighted Broncho Virtual School enrollment growth, graduation and alternative-education successes and expanded credit-recovery opportunities.
Board members asked clarifying questions and expressed appreciation for the outreach and programs; no formal action was required.
