The Blackford County Commissioners approved Regular Claims totaling $287,879.77, Miscellaneous Claims of $538,710.07, Payroll Claims of $130,629.12, Regular Payroll PPE 7/4/2025 of $188,683.03 and OPO Payroll PPE 6/20/2025 of $173.25. Commissioner Laura Coons moved each approval and Commissioner Dan Borgenheimer seconded; each motion passed 3-0.
Facility Manager Meagan Westfall said she will solicit HVAC quotes for presentation at the next meeting, that first-floor ceiling work will begin with evening painting, and that the P&Z and Veterans’ offices will move back once work is complete. EMA Director Bill Smith announced a workshop scheduled for November 6, 2025. Deputy Sheriff Casey Bell reported the jail inmate count at 77.
