EMS leaders report training results and February call volumes for Yates County

Yates County EMS Operations Manager David Dowdle briefed the committee on EMS operations and training. He said three of four participants passed the CFR Original exam and that the recent active-shooter drill produced constructive feedback. County EMS reporting is being standardized through manager meetings among the four transporting agencies.
Dowdle reviewed call dispositions and types for February: Dundee 19 calls, Keuka Park 12 calls, and Medic62/PSB 3 calls, for a total of 34 calls. The committee accepted the EMS report as information and did not take legislative action at this meeting.
