During Other Business, Jim Lyon, Staff member, reported that he and assistant Siobahn Gonzalez met with County Finance and documented roughly $1,000 in gift cards purchased between FY20 and FY21 that have expired or are unusable because merchants closed; County Finance approved shredding and Lyon said the cards are documented and will be destroyed. He said going forward participants will be asked where they want gift cards purchased and purchases will not be made in bulk to avoid future carryover losses.
Lyon also relayed praise delivered about the program: he said Chad Beeman of the Adult Treatment Court "was very complimentary of the work that Adult Treatment Court and the Youth Treatment Court is doing," and that Jim had thanked the County Commissioners for their support. The meeting packet notes a graduation set for next Wednesday and invitations will be sent this week.
