Jim Lyon, Staff member, told the committee the program submitted a City 1% application requesting $15,000, with $10,000 proposed for mental health counseling for Youth Intervention Track participants and $5,000 for quality-of-life and graduation incentives; that application was presented to the County Commissioners on Feb. 18 and is due Feb. 27. "The amount requested is $15,000," Lyon said.
He also described a CJSB grant application: the drug court requested $50,000 (up from $44,391.76) to fund intensive supervision probation services and treatment services for juvenile participants; the consolidated CJSB request across participating agencies totals $390,000. Lyon said the CJSB application will be presented to the County Commissioners on Mar. 4 and the submission deadline is Mar. 16.
