Teton County approves $87.5 million GMP for Justice Center; traffic study and change orders also authorized

The Teton County Board of County Commissioners on Feb. 17 approved a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) amendment for the Teton County Justice Center project in the amount of $87,488,744.00.
County Director of General Services Patrick McGaugh and Owner's Representative Tom Farrens presented the GMP amendment; there was no public comment before the Board adopted the amendment on a unanimous vote. The Board also approved combined change orders OCO‑004 and OCO‑005 from DPR/GE Johnson related to the project.
Separately, the Board approved Add-Service Amendment 009 with Anderson Mason Dale Architects for a revised and updated traffic study for the Justice Center at a cost of $6,500.00. The traffic-study amendment was presented as a discrete contract addition and approved unanimously.
Maureen Murphy, County Clerk, and Keith Gingery, Chief Deputy County Attorney, participated in the discussion by answering Board questions; the record notes no public opposition during the Justice Center items. The Justice Center approvals move the project forward under the contract arrangement with GE Johnson Construction Wyoming LLC and DPR as the construction manager team.
The Board did not designate additional contingencies in the public motions recorded; the approved GMP and the listed change orders are recorded in the meeting minutes as the formal actions taken.
