Bristow authority tables $49,500 water-distribution contract after presentation

The Bristow Municipal Authority on April 7 heard a presentation from Professional Engineering Consultants (P.E.C.) on plans to update the city’s hydraulic computer model and prepare a Water Distribution System Master Plan. P.E.C. representatives Chad Geisner and Joe Voss said the work would include GIS mapping and a water-distribution report and that the firm proposed a contract start date of July 1, 2026, with payment spread over six months.
Attorney Beth Anne Childs asked the authority to table agenda item #6 so staff could complete contract edits and confirm budget lines; Trustee Joe Church moved to table the item, seconded by Trustee Jeff Roberts. The roll-call vote was recorded as unanimous in favor of tabling the item. The item proposed a Master Services Agreement and a work order for updating the hydraulic model and master plan in the amount of $49,500.00; tabling means the authority will consider the revised contract at a later meeting after staff review.
