The Bristow Municipal Authority voted unanimously March 17 to approve the March 3, 2025 minutes and a multi-item consent agenda that included payroll, transfers and several wastewater treatment plant construction payments. Trustee Joe Church moved to approve the minutes, and Trustee Randy Witty seconded; the board recorded all present voting "Aye."
The consent agenda, moved by Trustee Judd Johns and seconded by Trustee Frank Groom, included maintenance claims of $21,825.18; actual payroll of $22,864.00 (pay period ending March 14, 2025); estimated payroll of $20,778.30 (pay period ending March 28, 2025); a budgeted transfer of $50,000.00 from the Municipal Authority General Fund to the City General Fund; and a budgeted transfer of $44,300.00 from the Municipal Authority General Fund to the Capital Improvement Fund. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Trustees Church, Fletcher, Groom, Johns, Peters and Witty recorded as voting "Aye."
The consent package also authorized payments tied to ongoing wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) construction work funded from an OWRB loan, including: Holloway, Updike & Bellen, Inc. ($5,015.00); KBC Construction, Inc. ($58,617.73); Haynes Equipment Company ($9,841.00); and three separate Core & Main invoices ($1,482.00; $10,359.85; $6,082.26). The board’s unanimous vote approved those claims as part of the consent agenda.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers, with Chairman Kris Wyatt and six trustees present; Trustees Heather Green and Jeff Roberts were absent. The Authority adjourned after completing the agenda.
