During the hearing clerks read multiple written objections (R. Johnson; Douglas L. and Deborah J. Alks) and a written comment and call from Jerry Perford who said his support was contingent on moving the line to a different alignment. After public comment the hearing was closed and the board moved to adopt the DD82 improvement, directing the engineer to prepare final plans and specifications and to proceed with bid letting. The motion to adopt (moved by Stecker; seconded by Hawes) carried by voice vote.
