The Dinwiddie County Planning Commission on its July meeting recommended approval of rezoning case PD‑26‑4 to the Board of Supervisors. Planning staff told the commission there was “nothing this evening that’s come to light related to the case” beyond the staff report, and with no public speakers the commission dispensed with a full reading.
Commissioner Timmons moved the resolution, stating: “Be it resolved that in order to assure compliance with Virginia code section 15.2‑2286(A)(7) … rezoning PD‑26‑4 as presented be recommended for approval to the Board of Supervisors.” The motion was seconded and recorded as carried by the commission. The recommendation forwards the staff report and the commission’s favorable recommendation to the board for final action.
