The Bristow City Council entered executive session under 25 O.S. § 307(b)(1) to discuss personnel matters including employment and compensation for multiple named positions. After reconvening, the council approved compensation adjustments effective this pay period starting April 6, 2025. Approved amounts were Deputy Police Chief $30.01 per hour; Police Chief $73,066.00 annually; Fire Chief $73,066.00 annually; City Clerk $66,970.02 annually; City Treasurer $41,060.00 annually; and Code Officer/Building Inspector $24.50 per hour.
The motion to approve compensation was made by Jeff Roberts and seconded by Joe Church; the roll-call vote was unanimous. The minutes record that the executive-session authorization cited 25 O.S. § 307(b)(1).
