During the Oct. 9 meeting, Public Works staff reported the estimated cost to replace a pump motor at a lift station would be between $6,000.00 and $8,000.00. Jackie Todd gave the cost range; the minutes record no motion to approve replacement or to authorize immediate purchase.
Joey Hatfield added that work to the lift station area has been completed and "it will not flood anymore," signaling the near-term flooding issue has been addressed. Because the minutes do not record a motion or vote on the pump replacement, the board’s discussion remains at the planning/estimating stage and any procurement would require a future action.
