Chairman Steve Dickey moved to approve the permit; Lucas Beaty seconded and the motion carried unanimously, with all four members voting yes.
Town staff advised that the property requires a water-line extension before the new home can be served. "The water line will have to be extended to this property," said Jackie Todd, adding that "the owner is required to pay for the pipe and the Town will do the installation." Applicant Justan Pickard confirmed his acceptance of that arrangement, saying he is "fine with paying for the pipe." The committee did not add conditions beyond the installation arrangement; the permit was approved as presented.
Next steps: staff will coordinate the water-line installation with the property owner and proceed with permit issuance once installation arrangements are confirmed.
