The Porter Public Works Authority unanimously approved multiple project payments at its Oct. 9, 2025 meeting, directing E.P.A. and OWRB funds to engineering and construction invoices tied to ongoing water and wastewater projects.
Board member Norma Meyer moved to approve payment to HUB Engineers for Invoice #5 in the amount of $11,250.00 for Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements, to be paid from E.P.A. funding; Kevin Walker seconded and the vote was recorded as yes from Steve Dickey, Norma Meyer, Kevin Walker and Lucas Beaty. In the same motion series the board approved HUB Engineers Invoice #9 for $17,500.00 for the Water Transmission Line Project to be paid from OWRB funding.
The board also approved Jerry’s Excavation, Inc.’s application for payment #4 for the Water Transmission Line Project in the amount of $136,640.06, with the motion made by Norma Meyer and seconded by Lucas Beaty and the vote unanimous. The approvals were processed through the consent/motion process recorded in the minutes.
