The Fremont County Planning & Zoning Commission voted unanimously May 26 to approve the Phase One final plat for Whitetail Ridge (Final Plat #25-050). Commissioner JC Siddoway made the motion and Sonnie Haws seconded; Chair Jim Jorgensen called the voice vote and announced the motion passed.
Staff told the commission the applicant had met the preliminary approval conditions from November 2024 and submitted required materials, including a wildlife plan and photographs of roads. Applicant Braxton Crapo told commissioners the Phase One roads were constructed to county specifications, and "All the power is run to each of the lots," and described plans to complete subsequent phases after harvest and as funds allow. The commission approved the plat and noted the county will execute a Development Agreement with the Board of County Commissioners covering phasing and responsibilities.
