Ray Mayo says Pasadena detention pond ahead of schedule, substantial completion likely July–August

Committee members asked about traffic control and truck mud on adjacent roadways; one committee member said eastbound traffic was being stopped while westbound traffic remained open, and raised concern about slick conditions after rain that have reportedly contributed to roadside incidents at Louella and Brookwood intersections. Mayo and staff said they would monitor the site and coordinate on any needed street cleaning or sweeping following rain events.
No formal action was taken at the meeting on the detention-pond update; staff will continue to monitor contractor progress and return with updates as needed.
