Lancaster Airport Authority accepts FY2025 audit with unmodified opinion

The Lancaster Airport Authority unanimously accepted the Fiscal Year 2025 audited financial statements after a presentation by Baker Tilly LLP.
Michael Wascura of Baker Tilly told the board, "The report is an unmodified opinion, which is the highest level." The auditors also noted a single audit was required this year because the Authority expended more than $1 million in federal funds, which heightened testing around project-related expenditures.
The board adopted Resolution No. 09, authorizing Executive Director William E. Foster to execute any necessary documents to release the final audited statements. Finance Director Cheryl Martin told the board the audit process went well and thanked audit staff for their assistance with new information requests and process clarifications.
The acceptance allows the audited financial statements to be released; board members did not request additional accounting adjustments at the meeting.
