Undersheriff Justin Ames summarized the investigative update and compliance checks and said the business remained in good standing. Commissioners asked for additional information about county revenue from the operation; Ames and staff said they could provide annual revenue figures to the board. Theresa Hugel, general manager for Thrive Now and a Jackpot advisory-board member, told commissioners the business had helped the community during COVID and provided staff and volunteer support for local services: "It's helped us out immensely, not just with the financial part of the burden from COVID," she said. The board voted to renew the license.
