Applicant Sandra Baker told commissioners the house is three bedrooms and that her daughter (who lives adjacent) would serve as the local host and on-site contact. She said the family intends to advertise minimally and locally; "We're only going to advertise it locally, minimally," she said, adding that they would not register with large platforms and that hosts would be available to respond. The applicant also proposed age and occupancy controls (24+ renter minimum and a practical occupancy cap tied to bedrooms) to reduce risk of parties.
Commissioners said the host-on-site and occupancy restrictions address common short-term rental concerns and moved to recommend approval; the recommendation will be forwarded to the Board of Supervisors for final action on Aug. 4.
