Ray Mayo updated the committee on Harris County's F-216 phase 3 project, saying Flood Control is working on an interlocal agreement to acquire Union Pacific property and build a detention basin just north of the F-216 channel. "They expect to have the agreement within the next month or so," Mayo said.
Mayo said the project area lies south of H Street between Sins Road and the railroad and will primarily benefit the Lomax area and property west of Sins Road adjacent to D Street. He told the committee he will bring a map and updated phasing information to the next meeting.
