Resident Narendra Reddy praises parks, police hiring and community activities

During the public-comment portion of the Sept. 30 meeting, resident Narendra Reddy told the council he came to compliment — not complain — about recent city work. Reddy highlighted heavy use at Cali Park, supported budgeted expansion of park parking and praised the council's decision to include funding for five new police officers.
"I came here not to complain, but compliment you guys," Reddy said. He also told the council he is running for the state House and said he would "work with you for whatever needs you know need in the future" if elected. The council thanked him for the comments and moved on to the manager's report.
