Leigh Battin told the committee that auditors from Drescher and Malecki will present the 2025 financial audit at noon on Monday prior to the legislative meeting. She summarized recent program items including a JP Morgan P-card rebate for quarter 3 of 2025 of $108.93 and said the NYS OGS card contract exceeded $250 million resulting in a 2.32% rebate.
Battin reported that NYCLASS investments totaled about $18.7 million at the end of March and that the County had received $1.8 million in total interest; she said the interest rate was about 3.5%. She described changes to the Capital Improvement Plan reporting — adding equipment and contractual CIP lines to better track those expenses — and noted staffing changes in the Finance Office including a part-time return of a principal account clerk typist.
