At the start of the Johns Creek meeting the council approved the consent agenda containing multiple routine but budgeted items. The items approved included the city's selection of Cigna and The Standard to provide employee health insurance and benefits; authorization of up to $650,000 for engineering work on Medlock Bridge Road (with a staff-referenced task order to Barge Design Solutions for $596,106); a contract with Charles Abbots and Associates in the amount of $332,800 for building inspection services; and approval of an easement dedication to Fulton County for Fire Station 63 at Brumbulloe Road.
Mayor Pro Tem Tunkey moved approval and the council seconded and approved the consent items by voice vote with no further discussion. These approvals allow staff to proceed with contracting and project development steps noted in the agenda packet.
