The committee advanced a resolution to appoint an Information Technology Director, listed as C. Pierce, to the full Legislature for consideration with no recorded objections. County Administrator Jessica Mullins also congratulated Chad Pierce as the new Director of IT during the meeting, and the committee accepted the personnel and HR report as information.
IT staff reported an ongoing migration of county email to Microsoft Office O365, described help-desk work, and said standard operating procedures and clearer documentation are in progress; larger project-management implementation remains not started. The HR report that advanced the appointment also listed the request to grant unpaid leave (K. Vanaman) to be taken up at the Legislative meeting.
