Legislative Chairwoman Leslie Church reported that Brian Cunningham contacted her to explain a change: Finger Lakes Community Health will not be built at the Community Center site. Church said the Community Center increased the asking price of the property to $200,000 per acre and that they need three acres; because the health provider would not support infrastructure costs, the center tried to make up those costs through the sale of the land.
Church said members of the Community Center will attend the Legislative Meeting on April 13 to provide a building update and to discuss next steps. Committee members acknowledged the change and requested the Community Center present details at the legislative meeting so the full Legislature can consider potential options.
