Soil & Water describes Seneca Mills restoration, septic inspection automation

Colby Petersen told the committee that Soil & Water staff have been issuing letters for septic inspections and that an upgrade to the KWIC system is automating portions of the program to make inspections and correspondence faster and more efficient. Petersen also reported that agricultural grants have been closed out and that checks arrived despite a state blackout period.
On the Seneca Mills restoration, Petersen said existing walls will be taken down by about 7.5 feet and the area will be regraded; he said that in the future the county may consider ADA access to the ramp or wall to improve safety and compliance. The committee received the report as information.
