County administrator: FY2023 financials received; FY2023 audit to be scheduled

County Administrator Cindy Williams told the Geneva County Commission that the FY2023 financial statements have been received and she will notify the auditors to schedule the FY2023 audit. Williams said she will be speaking with Glenda Baxter about FY2024 financials and requested that the item remain on future agendas to keep audit and budget tasks a priority.
Williams also reminded department heads that budget review meetings will be scheduled in the coming weeks as she begins the budget process for the next fiscal year.
