Geneva County approves warranty for 2024 garbage truck sale and directs staff to draft arena rental agreement

During the same meeting, Commissioner Bart Wilks said several people had inquired about renting the county arena and referenced a Dale County contract that charges $500 per day. Commissioners authorized Chairman Seay, Administrator Cindy Williams and County Attorney Phil Eldridge to develop a rental agreement and pricing to present to the commission. Commissioner Jeff Hatcher asked staff to provide the arena's average electricity cost to inform rental pricing.
