Treasurer urges keeping AS400 in courthouse server room; E.T.S. does not maintain system

Shelly (surname Bates is listed elsewhere in the record) told the board that "E.T.S. does not perform maintenance on the AS400 and has nothing to do with it," and Wines said it would be safer to perform backups at different times of the day or night if the AS400 stays in the server room. Shelly said she would speak with E.T.S. to request that the system remain in its current location.
The board did not take a formal vote; staff were directed to follow up with E.T.S. about maintenance responsibilities and backup scheduling.
