CVB reports over-budget status as municipality payments lag; account balances noted

Executive Director Mark Jordan told the board on June 24 that the Martinsburg–Berkeley County CVB is currently over budget because it is waiting on one month's payment from the City of Martinsburg and two months' payment from Berkeley County.
Jordan reported the ICS account interest rate at 3.01% with a balance of $507,260.78 as of May 31, 2026, and said the bank checking account balance was $75,000. Mark Eisinger moved to approve the financial report; Greg Jones seconded and the board voted unanimously to accept the report.
