Blackford County commissioners approve minutes and routine motions

The Blackford County Board of Commissioners met Aug. 4 in Hartford City and approved the minutes of their July 21 regular meeting and the July 24 executive meeting. Both motions were made on the floor and passed by a 3/0 vote, recorded by Auditor Lisa Simmons.
The session also included several routine approvals and a roll call. The meeting was called to order by President John Lancaster; the board heard a range of department reports and motions that were resolved without further amendment. "The vote was 3/0," the minutes state for each approved motion.
