A presenter for CLEAR CREEK ISD opened a Spanish-language briefing by saying the most important in-school factor for student learning is the quality of teachers. “El factor dentro de la escuela que más influye en cuánto aprende un niño es la calidad de su maestro,” the presenter said, framing Title II, Part A as the federal program that helps ensure students have strong teachers.
The presenter described Title II, Part A as part of the Every Student Succeeds Act and said funds flow from the U.S. Department of Education through the state to the district, where CCISD decides how to use them within federal and state rules. Families were invited to ask about the program at their campus and to participate in district feedback opportunities, including the Parent 101 resources the district offers.
