Karen Kuhl, outgoing Executive Director of Tour Cayuga, used her committee report to thank the Legislature and summarize the bureau’s recent work in regional marketing, grant projects and visitor research. "As I close out my tenure as Executive Director, I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the Legislature for your support of Cayuga County’s tourism efforts," Kuhl said in her report.
The committee approved Resolution 10-25-PL-2 to designate the Cayuga County Convention and Visitors Bureau (CCCVB) as the county’s Tourism Promotion Agency for state grant funding in 2026 and to name the program project director; the resolution passed on a motion by Elane Daly, seconded by Aileen McNabb-Coleman, with the committee recording the vote as all in favor. The minutes also note that Courtney Kasper was appointed as incoming executive director effective Sept. 29.
