Council updates appointments, removes bank signer, approves pay equity report; complaint policy tabled

On Feb. 4 the Wrenshall City Council approved an updated 2026 Appointments List to be posted at city hall and took administrative steps to change authorized bank signers, removing Duane Ziebarth and adding Acting Mayor Joyce Gvesrude. The motions carried as recorded in the minutes. The council also approved the city’s 2026 Pay Equity Report on a motion by Councilor Sabrina Weber, seconded by Councilor Kevin House.
The council tabled discussion of the Complaint Policy until the April meeting and directed that a letter be sent to the owner of Pioneer Mobile Park reminding the owner of a previously issued Correction Notice and requesting confirmation and a timeline for required repairs or work in 2026. No dates or enforcement deadlines beyond the directive to send a letter were recorded.
