Sarah Soderholm, Murray County/Des Moines 1W1P Coordinator, presented an overview of the Des Moines 1W1P organization and its formal agreement structure to the Blue Earth River Watershed Planning Partnership Policy Committee on April 7, 2025. The presentation described how the Des Moines 1W1P entity organizes partners and the agreement framework it uses to assign roles and responsibilities.
Committee members were told the Des Moines 1W1P structure as a model for interjurisdictional coordination; afterward the committee noted that formal agreements affect decisions about which partner can host financial or administrative functions.
