Parents ask West Linn to back full‑service community‑school conversions for high‑performing primaries

Kate Gales also cited national research and rankings in support of keeping smaller schools, saying smaller size contributes to higher engagement and graduation rates.
Speakers asked the city to publicly support the community‑school model and advocate for it with the district so facilities can serve broader neighborhood needs rather than be shuttered.
