Enforcement education: LCB contacted about tobacco-industry litigation covering 2015–2019; cannabis admin-hold work underway

Jennifer Dubez, covering enforcement education, told the EMT the agency had been contacted by AEPs and that the tobacco industry may pursue litigation tied to the Master Settlement Agreement covering the years 2015–2019. She said the agency tracks seizures and will be prepared to respond, including to possible public-records requests.
Jennifer also said the chief and staff will meet on administrative-hold policy for cannabis and that RAG has raised concerns about LCB communications and due process related to holds. She noted advertising-language clarifications being prepared for policy staff and an upcoming training on the 17th.
